On the occasion of International Coffee Day, Halte 24-7 organized a tasting of lattes, cortados, and blancaccinos for its members, provided by our partner Café Liégeois Canada.

Every year, on September 29th, the whole world comes together to celebrate International Coffee Day, dedicated to the appreciation of this warm and enchanting beverage that is an integral part of the daily lives of millions of people around the globe.

However, International Coffee Day is not just an opportunity to savor a freshly ground cup of coffee; it is also a day to recognize the impact that this industry has on our lives. It provides an opportunity to reflect on the complex production chain that allows each coffee bean to reach our cup. Dedicated farmers work hard to cultivate coffee plants, harvest them, dry them, roast them, and finally prepare them for our enjoyment.

Furthermore, this day encourages us to explore the diversity of coffee, as there are numerous varieties and preparation methods that offer unique flavors and aromas. From mild Arabicas to robust Robustas, from traditional drip coffee to Italian espresso, there is something for every taste.

It is also an opportunity to shed light on the challenges that the coffee industry faces, such as environmental issues, sustainability concerns, and the difficulties encountered by coffee producers in developing countries.
