The beautiful days are coming and we welcome the month of May with great pleasure! We're offering you a non-exhaustive list of activities planned this month on the island!

Festival Vélocité, from May 4th to 7th 2023 - Parc Jean Drapeau

This festive event dedicated to cycling offers many free activities: exhibitors village, family ride, professional race, sport bike demonstration and documentary screening. Entirely dedicated to cycling and all its practices, the festival has only one objective: to bring together and federate all communities and cycling enthusiasts.

Rock on! from May 10th 2023

Pouzza Fest and the St-Ambroise Fringe Festival in Montreal will take over in May. From May 10 to 22, punk rock takes over downtown, with headliners from here and abroad including Propaghandi, Good Riddance, Cloud Nothings and Yesterday's Ring. And from May 30 to June 19, it's the ultimate summer party, with theater, dance, music, comedy and circus coming out of the margins to take the Plateau-Mont-Royal by storm.

Montreal History Festival from May 12 to 14, 2023

A 100% history program, that's what the 3rd edition of the Festival of History of Montreal offers you! Three days of activities that will make you experience, walk, see and hear history and heritage in the four corners of the city.

MTL at the top on May 17 and 18, 2023

Conferences, roundtables and workshops to develop reflections on nocturnal spaces and cultures! These meetings will be led by local and international nightlife specialists, offering a new networking opportunity for the local nightlife industry. This 4th edition promises a reflection around cutting-edge projects and innovative ideas and will be centered around the theme NOX ✦ SPATIUM, to think about the possibilities of the infinite space of the night!

NON STOP from May 19 to 21, 2023

To close the event, NON STOP returns for more than 36 hours of uninterrupted nightlife culture, with extended hours of alcohol sales at the Grand Quai of the Port of Montreal with a spectacular panoramic view of the St. Lawrence River and the city of Montreal!

Pedestrianization of Mount Royal Avenue

Mount Royal Avenue is pedestrianized again this summer, from May 20 to September 5, from Saint-Laurent to Fullum.

Mount Royal Avenue Trade Show from May 25 to 28, 2023.

More than 350 businesses spread over more than 2.5 kilometers of pedestrian street offer, in a joyful and relaxed atmosphere, bargains not to be missed.
For the occasion, from Thursday to Saturday, the businesses stay open until 11 pm. For their part, the many terraces that line the Avenue close at one o'clock in the morning.

Festival Accès Asie from May 4 to 28, 2023

Festival Accès Asie presents the work of artists from Asia and its diaspora each year in May, Asian Heritage Month in Canada.
